Feed the Birds
While most fly south for the winter, there will be a few varieties that stick around. Feed them with bread or birdseed, or even make seasonal pine cone feeders to keep the birds fed and the family entertained.
Drive to See the Lights
You can go to a light display or just drive around the local neighborhoods to see what everyone has put out. This is a great tradition to start for your family on Christmas Eve to bond and enjoy the spirit of the season.
Make a Family Time Capsule
This is a great way to end the year. Compile items that help you remember all the good moments of the year and put them in a time capsule. As the next year ends, open it, remember the good times, and add to it. It can become a yearly tradition for your family
