Why Faultless Starch Should Be On Your Shopping List

This post brought to you by Faultless/Bon Ami Company   . The content and opinions expressed below are that of Tools 2 Tiaras.

I talk about following little traditions from your mother and grandmother without ever knowing why. It seems like my grandmother was always a busy little bee, cooking, gardening, and cleaning. My grandmother was queen at time management because I also remember her painting and playing the piano. She also had a FT job.I will never know how she did it all except that my suspicions of her being related to Wonder Woman are correct. We learned at an early age how to cook, clean, and iron. All our clothes were ironed including jeans. Pop’s shirts didn’t need to go to the cleaners because grandma pressed and starched each one.

When I started keeping house, I too ironed but tried to avoid it like the plague. I would iron my husband’s shirts but never did I use starch even though my mother faithfully made sure I had it. I didn’t want to break her heart and tell her that it sat in my laundry room cupboard unless I was using it for a craft project.

When I was told you always use starch, I was not told all the benefits of WHY you should use it. I really thought it was used to keep collars straight and to keep creases in. In case you were naive like I was, there are many reasons you should use starch on your clothes and linens.

Since 1887, Faultless has been by the ironing board’s side – there to help make people feel good about how they dress. Faultless Premium is the perfect solution to help rid yourself of the “Wrinkle Blues.” Check them out here.

Having A Dinner Party?

When you use starch on your linens they look their best, but did you know that it makes them easier to clean!

  • Tablecloths – This creates the canvas of creating a beautiful table setting. It’s important to use Faultless starch so when guests spill their red wine or drop a piece of lasagna it will be easier to clean.
  • Napkins – We like to get creative with the art of folding napkins. I would make sure I bought the correct napkins but our swan’s head would still flop over no matter what we tried. The trick is to use starch for a picture perfect napkin!
  • Placemats – I would wash these the day before and lay them flat and then iron them but the ends would still curl. It drove me crazy! Once you add starch they lay flat and look new. Beats going out and buying new linens for every holiday or dinner party!

Going Out On The Town Or To An Interview

Faultless Premium helps clothes look like new. It gives you all of the sharpness and unlike other starch, the Faultless Premium bottle won’t clog, flake or stick. This is perfect for dark fabrics. It also reduces ironing time which will give you more time to perfect your makeup or hair. Shirts, skirts, dresses, and slacks should be starched to make people take notice of how sharp you look! Faultless Premium will keep you clothes looking new – it’s the starch that performs.

Fashions and fabrics may change but looking your best will always in!

Traveling or Vacations

When traveling you don’t have time to waste ironing clothes that look like crape paper. You have to fit all of your clothes and necessities in one suitcase and everything gets squished especially as the suitcase is thrown around by the airline. Iron and starch your clothes before you go making any needed touch-ups a breeze. I also roll my clothes so it eliminates and chance of creases.

Create Homemade Crafts

There are many crafts you can make with starch. Check out Faultless Starch website and get your craft on. https://faultless.com When my kids were younger, I used to make their invitations to go with the theme of their party. You can also make paper mache’ paste and a beautiful candlelight catcher.

Why did no one warn us that menopause would turn our bodies into a crime scene… Dryness. Pain. Sneezing roulette. UTIs showing up uninvited. And doctors smiling politely and saying, “That’s just aging.” Cool. Love that for us.

Say Hello to Silky Peach Cream 🍑 A bioidentical estriol cream that works locally to rebuild thinning tissue, restore moisture, and bring back comfort where it actually matters. Not a Band-Aid. Not a $350 prescription. Not a lube that disappears by lunchtime.

Estriol is the gentlest form of estrogen our bodies naturally make, and Silky Peach Cream puts it back exactly where menopause took it away. Over time, tissue rebuilds, moisture returns, and suddenly intimacy doesn’t feel like sandpaper and regret.

Two pumps nightly. Then maintenance. Because it took years to get this dry… it’s okay if it takes a little time to feel normal again.

I’m done whispering about menopause. I got my life back. And my peach is happy again!

I didn’t expect this to be the hardest part of getting older.

If sex hurts. If you avoid intimacy. If you dread wiping.

It’s not “just dryness.” It’s estrogen loss. And yes, it’s fixable.

Menopause doesn’t ease in quietly. It shows up hot, uncomfortable, and disruptive. And for way too long, women are told to whisper about it or accept it as “just aging.” I’m done with that.

Silky Peach Cream helped restore moisture, rebuild thinning tissue, and bring back comfort where menopause took it away. Not a quick fix. Not a Band-Aid. Just real, gradual relief that made me feel like myself again.

Two pumps. Some patience. And a lot less suffering.

Stop whispering about menopause. You deserve relief. You deserve joy. Your peach deserves to be happy again.

Get the details and try it for yourself at the link in my bio.

In paid partnership with #NoPainPact and with the support of #VoicesforNonOpioidChoices.

When I found out I needed surgery, my 1st thought wasn’t the procedure. It was the fear of being handed opioids again with no real choice. After my last surgery, opioids were the only option I had, my insurance didn’t cover the non-opioid alternatives I specifically asked for. That showed me how quickly exposure can happen. Many people don’t realize that about 1 in 10 patients who receive opioids after surgery will struggle with long-term use. That’s nearly 4 million people per year. It’s no secret that opioids can lead to addiction, & we should be much louder about the fact that there are non opioid options that can be used during surgery to manage pain afterwards.
Medicare already recognizes this & separately reimburses for FDA-approved non-opioid pain treatments, proving these options are real & available. Yet insurance barriers often make them difficult or impossible to access. Instead of making decisions about my recovery with my doctor, insurance policy made them for me. As I prepare for my next surgery, I want access to every option that reduces my exposure. I know how easily things can escalate. I’ve seen opioid use continue far longer than intended. It can tear apart families before anyone realizes what’s happening. What starts as short-term pain management after surgery becomes something no one ever expected, simply because safer options were never offered. It’s frustrating that some major insurers still haven’t expanded coverage the way Medicare has. #UnitedHealthcare is one of the companies whose restrictions make it harder to access FDA-approved non-opioid surgical pain options. Because of their size, these decisions affect millions. Surgery shouldn’t be a gateway to opioid addiction. Medicare covers these options. UnitedHealthcare & others need to do the same so patients aren’t pushed toward opioids by outdated policies. Patients & families deserve better.
