What is better for adventure than taking a cross country road trip? Well, if you asked me last week, just about anything else. Except maybe going on cruise, that would be worse.
I get motion sick. And I don’t mean I went on five roller coasters and ate cheese fries and I feel sick motion sick; I mean twenty plus minutes in the car, dark 3D movies, on a boat, or I just went surfing and now I’m getting physically sick.
I have never fully understood why I get so sick, so easily. However, if you ask my grandma she will tell you the same story over and over. When she used to bring my mom to work and babysit me, I threw up every single morning in the car, to the point where they didn’t even dress me.
I have tried it all to help, medications, ginger ale, other soda, windows open, music… I even had those weird pressure point wrist bands on when I went on a cruise. Nothing has ever worked, and if anything I get uncomfortable or pass out.
But now I can say… I have finally found my motion sickness salvation!
