Create A Glowing Patio or Vanity

January 22, 2015 Rachel Ferrucci 21 Comments

Glow PathwayDo you love to look up at the sky at night and see the stars twinkle? Do you love the soft glowing lights? Imagine being able to create your own magical place that glowed in the night. Glow Stones are the highest performing, non-toxic photoluminescent aggregates in the world. You can now have a fairyland of illumination using no electricity by adding them to an concrete project.

I not only love fairylands but I love to be the first one with the cool stuff!

The AGT line of commerical-grade aggregates & coatings can be added to any concrete, cement, terrazzo, epoxy or stucco project to transform these surfaces into accent lighting sources.

It can be used on interior or exterior concrete, cement, stucco or epoxy projects and will illuminate for over 10+ hours after being exposed to a light source for only 10 minutes. A great way to add safety along with beautiful accents.

Your choice of yellow, blue, or green and cost $54-$64 per pound depending on size of stone

GlowPool

I already have many ideas for my glow projects:

Walkway
Pool
Counter Top
Stepping Stones for the garden as gifts

Now if you don’t mind I’m off to get this because I do like being the one with the new toys first!

What would you do with your glow stones?

We don’t have very good outdoor lighting at the moment, so this would be a wonderful way to add a little more light (& a whole lot more fun) to our backyard.

I love the glowing stepping stones. my house could use these for sure. This place is such a nightmare, and my house still has Christmas lights outside because my electric is faulty.

Okay, that is pretty cool. We don’t have a pool but I think creating a glowing porder around our patio would be super fun for summer evenings!

I think that a glowing counter top would be so cool! I think this would be really neat to make a lit up walkway like you mentioned as well. I think that I’ll share this with my Grandma she might like to do it at her home.

You’ll find a replica David in the square but going to Accademia Gallery in Florence and seeing this breathtaking statue by Michelangelo is 100% worth it, whether you like art or not. His right leg has a tree stump which balances the entire statue.
