I have always loved hammocks, for some reason every time I see one I just have to jump in. Plus it seems that my son is just like me! They provide a state of relaxation that I can’t even describe you simply have to experience it for yourself. So naturally when I had the opportunity to test out the Grand Trunk Double Parachute Hammock I couldn’t wait! When it came I couldn’t believe how light & portable, it’s only 20oz! The Hammock measures 10.5 X 6.5ft and can support up to 400lbs! Not to mention at only $64.99 it’s a great deal & I believe it is worth every penny!
Before this I haven’t had any experience with portable hammocks, but in my opinion the GTDPH can compete with any hammock out there, plus the set up is incredibly easy! Definitely two thumbs up from us, I couldn’t get my son out of it! Plus I will be purchasing the necessary accessories for camping in my hammock (Rain Fly Just in case)
- Begin by picking 2 trees about 8ft apart (make sure they are not too large for your support ropes).
- Wrap the provided support ropes around the trees and through the loop in the rope, then pull tight.
- Attach the Nautical Grade carbiners to the desired knot setting.
