Grandma’s Holiday Gift Guide

December 7, 2010 Rachel Ferrucci 5 Comments

I always went a little bit over board with my kids at Christmas and I knew when I became a grandma I would be unstoppable. This is my first Christmas as a grandma and being that my Prince will only be 5 months, I decided I would save the ridiculous gifts for when he was older and I would give him the Perfect gifts. I thought hard and searched for the best gifts a grandma could give!

Here is grandma’s holiday gift guide for 0-1 year:

Dancing Mickey Mouse- Mickey’s voice captivates all ages and I couldn’t resist this. This will be his buddy who will watch Mickey’s PlayHouse. $74

Little Tykes Gym grows with the baby at each stage, so this is a toy that will get lots of use! $30

LeapFrog Scout is so cute, very colorful, and helps baby learn with songs and games. You download words, baby firsts, and much more when you personalize this! $14-$20

FisherPrice stacker is a must for every baby and the FisherPrice Puppy teaches baby hand, feet, ear, colors, and plays music.

$13                                                                       $16

PlaySkool Chuck Dump Truck There’s so many different Chucks but thought his first Chuck should be a talking one! $22

My husband (Poppy) actually picked this out. I was very excited to find out that Ralph Lauren makes baby clothes. Guess what designer he’ll be wearing for Christmas (wink)

$75

This is going to be the best gift evah!!! My most creative for the year. I made Prince T a family tree book at SnapFish. I collected pictures from the whole family, including my son in laws side. The books is “I’m Prince T and This is My Family!” It includes his puppy, DOB, weight, etc. It has everyone from great-grandparents to cousins. I found a coupon for 35% off – order by 12/12-code 1206MERRY. $27.99 and up

Last but not least The Children’s Place! They have great clothes at amazing prices. This is where you can go crazy buying outfits for your little one. From $5-$25. Some of my faves here:

Hope you enjoyed my selections! None of the above companies asked me to write about them nor did they send me any of the products. These are my own opinions for great gifts! What are some of your favorites for your little ones??

GREAT baby gift guide! I especially love the photo book – very cool! (I hand made a much more crappy version of that for my oldest boy when he was 2.)

Also – just an FYI for your other readers – if you shop online at the Children’s Place, check Retail Me Not for discount codes! I found one there for 20% my entire order – yee haw!

I didn’t realize how much poor sleep was affecting my trips… until I fixed it.

Waking up tired, adjusting to new places, different beds, time zones… it adds up fast.

Traveling with the AirMini changed that for me. It’s compact, simple, and makes it easy to stay consistent no matter where I am.

Now I actually feel like I’m experiencing my trips, not just getting through them.

Check it out at the link in my bio.

#ad No one tells you that your skin doesn’t just “age”… it changes.

Dryness, dullness, fine lines, that crepey texture… it’s not just time. It’s hormonal.

I kept layering on creams thinking I just needed something “better,” but nothing was actually addressing what was going on underneath.

M4 from @myalloy is different. It’s prescription skincare made specifically for hormonal skin, using topical estriol to help restore collagen, hydration, and elasticity right where your skin needs it.

It doesn’t enter your bloodstream. It works at the skin level. And honestly… it just makes sense.
