Margaritaville at Sea Is Bringing All Three Ships Together for a Historic Zac Brown Band Concert

July 17, 2026 Rachel Ferrucci

MARGARITAVILLE AT SEA TO MAKE HISTORY WITH FIRST-EVER THREE-SHIP FLEET GATHERING FEATURING EXCLUSIVE ZAC BROWN BAND CONCERT

Guests Sailing Aboard Paradise, Islander and Beachcomber Will Experience the Historic Nassau Celebration

FLEET 3 ships

There are cruises built around the destinations, cruises booked for the food and sunshine, and then there are those rare sailings where something happens that you simply cannot experience on an ordinary vacation. Margaritaville at Sea is planning one of those moments for January 2027, bringing its entire three-ship fleet together for the first time and adding an exclusive Zac Brown Band concert to the celebration.

On January 28, 2027, Paradise, Islander and the cruise line’s newest flagship, Beachcomber, will all meet in Nassau for a historic fleet gathering. Guests sailing aboard all three ships will have exclusive access to a private performance by multi-platinum, three-time GRAMMY Award-winning Zac Brown Band at the Nassau Cruise Port Amphitheatre.

It is a major milestone for a cruise line that began in 2022 with just one ship sailing from the Port of Palm Beach. In only a few years, Margaritaville at Sea has expanded to three ships sailing from three Florida homeports, giving travelers more ways to trade everyday life for a few days in an island state of mind.

Three Ships and Three Ways to Join the Celebration

One of the best parts of the event is that travelers do not have to choose one specific cruise to be part of it. Three different itineraries, departing from three Florida ports, will converge in Nassau for the celebration.

Guests aboard Paradise can choose a four-night voyage departing from the Port of Palm Beach and visiting Freeport and Nassau. This shorter itinerary makes the historic gathering accessible to travelers looking for an easy Caribbean escape without committing to a full week away.

Islander will sail from Port Tampa Bay on a five-night itinerary visiting Freeport, Grand Bahama and Nassau. It offers a little more time at sea while still keeping the trip manageable for those who want to turn the concert into a Caribbean getaway.

Then there is Beachcomber, Margaritaville at Sea’s newest flagship. During its inaugural season, the ship will depart from PortMiami on a seven-night itinerary visiting George Town, Grand Cayman; Ocho Rios, Jamaica; and Nassau.

For travelers who love the excitement of sailing aboard a new ship, the Beachcomber voyage adds another layer to an already unusual cruise experience. Guests can explore multiple Caribbean destinations before joining Paradise and Islander in Nassau for the fleet-wide celebration.

An Exclusive Zac Brown Band Concert in Nassau

The centerpiece of the gathering will be a private Zac Brown Band performance exclusively for guests sailing aboard the three Margaritaville at Sea ships.

The Nassau Cruise Port Amphitheatre will provide a waterfront setting for the concert, bringing thousands of travelers together from across the fleet for an experience that combines live music, cruising and the Caribbean.

Zac Brown Band has built a reputation as one of the most successful and dynamic live acts to cross country and Southern rock. Led by Zac Brown, the band has earned three GRAMMY Awards, sold more than 30 million singles and 11 million albums, and generated more than 11 billion catalog streams.

The group has also achieved 16 number-one radio singles and became only the second act to top both the Country and Active Rock formats. Their live performances have become a major part of their identity, including a record for the most consecutive sold-out shows at Boston’s Fenway Park.

More recently, Zac Brown Band made history as the first country band to perform at Sphere in Las Vegas with its Love & Fear limited engagement in December 2025 and January 2026. The residency coincided with the band’s eighth studio album, Love & Fear, featuring collaborations with Dolly Parton, Snoop Dogg and Marcus King.

For Margaritaville at Sea guests, however, the Nassau concert offers something entirely different. This is not simply a port-day concert that happens to coincide with a cruise. It is being created specifically as part of the cruise line’s first complete fleet gathering.

“This is more than a celebration of our fleet; it’s a defining moment for Margaritaville at Sea,” said Christopher Ivy, Chief Executive Officer of Margaritaville at Sea. “No one brings music and travel together quite like we do. It’s where unforgettable entertainment, extraordinary destinations and one-of-a-kind guest experiences combine to create moments that can only happen at sea.”

The Celebration Goes Beyond the Concert

While Zac Brown Band may be the headline attraction, Margaritaville at Sea is planning additional experiences throughout the voyages to make the gathering feel like a true fleet-wide celebration.

Guests can expect a special Captain’s Toast, a festive Sail Away celebration and exclusive onboard events created specifically for the milestone. VIP packages will also be available for purchase for travelers who want additional perks connected to the celebration.

That means the experience begins well before everyone arrives at the Nassau amphitheater. Each ship will have its own atmosphere and itinerary, but all three voyages share the anticipation of eventually coming together in the same destination.

Seeing Paradise, Islander and Beachcomber gathered in Nassau should be a memorable sight on its own. Until now, Margaritaville at Sea guests have experienced the ships separately. January 28 will be the first time the entire fleet is assembled in one destination.

From One Ship to a Three-Ship Fleet

The gathering also tells the story of how quickly Margaritaville at Sea has grown.

The cruise line launched in 2022 with Paradise sailing from Palm Beach. Today, Paradise continues to offer convenient three- to five-night getaways to destinations including The Bahamas and Key West.

Islander expanded the brand’s reach with four- to seven-night cruises departing from Port Tampa Bay and traveling to Mexico and the Western Caribbean.

In 2027, Beachcomber will become the newest addition to the fleet, sailing seven- to 10-night itineraries from PortMiami to destinations throughout the Eastern and Southern Caribbean.

Across the ships, the Margaritaville lifestyle extends beyond tropical décor. Guests can choose from inclusive and specialty dining, island-inspired cuisine, themed bars and lounges, live entertainment, pools and hot tubs, a kids’ club and arcade, Margaritaville Casino and St. Somewhere Spa & Salon.

The concept is designed around making the journey feel as much like a vacation as the ports themselves. The three-ship celebration takes that philosophy and turns it into something much bigger.

A Limited-Time Summer Sale Adds Another Reason to Book

Alongside the announcement of the historic fleet gathering, Margaritaville at Sea has launched its limited-time America’s Summer Sale, which includes eligible sailings connected to the January celebration.

The promotion includes:

  • 50% off cruises across all itineraries
  • Third and fourth guests sail free on select sailings
  • Complimentary stateroom upgrades on select sailings
  • Complimentary stateroom selection on select sailings
  • $50 deposits on select sailings

All three itineraries participating in the fleet gathering are now open for booking, including the seven-night Beachcomber sailing during the ship’s inaugural season.

For families or groups traveling together, offers such as third and fourth guests sailing free on select departures could make the celebration especially appealing. As always, travelers should review the specific terms and availability for their chosen sailing when booking.

A Cruise Experience That Will Only Happen Once for the First Time

There will undoubtedly be future celebrations as MargaritavilleAtSea.com continues to grow, but there can only be one first gathering of the entire fleet.

On January 28, 2027, guests who sailed from Palm Beach, Tampa and Miami will find themselves together in Nassau, watching three Margaritaville at Sea ships share the same destination and attending a concert created exclusively for them.

For Zac Brown Band fans, it is an opportunity to combine a Caribbean vacation with a private waterfront performance. For cruise enthusiasts, it is a chance to be aboard during an important moment in the cruise line’s history. And for travelers considering Beachcomber during its inaugural season, the celebration adds another reason to experience the fleet’s newest flagship.

It is the kind of event that turns the cruise itself into the destination. Three ships, three Florida homeports, a gathering in Nassau and Zac Brown Band performing by the waterfront make this much more than another Caribbean itinerary.

For travelers who believe vacations should come with a great soundtrack, January 2027 may be the perfect time to head to sea.
