Are You Ready for a New Look for the New Season?

November 13, 2020 Rachel Ferrucci

As the new season approaches, you may be starting to think about reorganizing your closet to match the needs of the changing weather. This is the perfect opportunity to sort your wardrobe out completely and maybe to try out a new look for the new season. Experimenting with a new look is the ideal way to make the new season feel like a fresh start. If you are considering updating your style, then why not give some of these tips a try?

Out with the Old

Did you know that most people only wear 20 percent of the clothing in their wardrobe? It’s so easy to fall into the habit of just washing and wearing the same clothes day after day. This means that there is a huge 80 percent of your clothing hanging in your closet that you never wear. If you are feeling ready for a challenge, then why not have a sort through the 80 percent and see if there are items that you may want to start wearing more often. If you discover pieces of clothing that you can’t imagine yourself wearing again, why not make this the time to get rid of them to free up some space in your closet?

Try New Colors

Many people stick to wearing just a couple of colors. This could be because they feel like these are the shades that best suit them, or perhaps they have just gotten into the habit; either way, if you fancy refreshing your look, incorporating some new colors into your wardrobe choices is a great way to do this.

If you are reluctant to embrace color fully, how about starting by adding a colorful accessory such as a belt or a necklace? Or, you could try introducing a patterned piece of clothing with a little color in it instead.

Introduce Some New Pieces

If you plan to revamp your wardrobe, then why not treat yourself to a few new items as part of your new look? Looking for Tops for women in a style or color that you would not normally wear is an excellent way to step out of your comfort zone and try something new.

Wearing a new outfit can give you a real confidence boost, so don’t wait until a special occasion to show off the latest additions to your wardrobe.

Add Some Accessories

Accessories are an excellent way to liven up any outfit. Changing your accessories is the easiest way to refresh your look and to add extra color to your wardrobe choices. Adding a couple of statement necklaces to your jewelry collection will ensure that you can accessorize even the plainest of outfits and transform it into something entirely new.

There are many ways to refresh your look for the new season and get your closet organized at the same time. Trying out a new look doesn’t need to cost a fortune; investing in just a few new items is all that is required to update your style.

You’ll find a replica David in the square but going to Accademia Gallery in Florence and seeing this breathtaking statue by Michelangelo is 100% worth it, whether you like art or not. His right leg has a tree stump which balances the entire statue.
