We all have our days when we are not feeling 100%. When we don’t feel healthy or we are in need of some sort of boost we need something instant. An instant pick-me-up can help you through the dark days, but also give you a little bit more in the way of rejuvenation. Have a look at some of these and take some inspiration.

 

Fix Up Your Looks

Something as simple as a liquid lipstick can make us look twice in the mirror ourselves. If we get up in the morning and think that we don’t look our best, we can shop for the best liquid lipsticks and give our style a little boost. Think about changing your hair too. Sometimes when we are used to the person staring back at us in the mirror, this is when making ourselves look a little bit different can rejuvenate our mind and body.

 

Borrow a Pet

Pets a fantastic way to feel loved. They have no worries about how you look and will give you unconditional love. If you are feeling low next time ask a friend or family member if you can borrow their dog for a quick walk in the park, or borrow a cat and give it a massive cuddle. When I found out I needed surgery, my 1st thought wasn’t the procedure. It was the fear of being handed opioids again with no real choice. After my last surgery, opioids were the only option I had, my insurance didn’t cover the non-opioid alternatives I specifically asked for. That showed me how quickly exposure can happen.
