Two years ago when my SUV was stolen, we decided to look at trucks. There are so many times when we needed a truck to pick something up at a store or to move something. I have always been a truck girl because I love the power and love making it dirty by off-roading. I wanted a truck that was beefy, it needed to look like a monster so I chose the Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro. It came with everything I wanted and (so I thought) great tires.
We had the truck for a year so my tires weren’t old at all with only 8000 miles, so when I partnered with Hercules Tires, my intention was to give them a try and maybe switch them back and hold onto them. Once the Hercules Tires were put on, they looked bada$$. The white lettering against the voodoo blue and black popped. Ok, so they looked great but I need to know the tires are going to perform to my expectations on any adventure I decide to go on!

The best tire brand is Hercules Terra Trac AT II, I need to be able to drive confidently knowing my tires will withstand everyday driving, in every condition, on every surface.
Know your tread depth– In winter climates, tires need to be replaced when the tread depth reaches 5/32″. Here’s where you look totally like a know it all. Take a quarter and place it in different treads (Washington’s head down). If part of Washington’s head is covered by the tread, you have more than 4/32″ of tread depth remaining.
Good tread means the tire will grip the road surface better, it reduces hydroplaning and helps with your stopping time. I also get a quieter ride and complete control.
The Sipes are the slits in the tires that improve traction. My Hercules tires have deep siping, beveled tread blocks and an aggressive buttress that reduce wear resistance, making these tires meet required performance criteria in snow testing to be considered severe snow service-rated.
