Long Shot Movie Event Imagine 100 ladies together to review an upcoming movie with a photo booth, wine, and prizes! Well, that’s exactly what we did! The Brand Connection brought 100 ladies in the community together for a night of fun and entertainment.

Everyone was so excited to have access to an exclusive screening of Long Shot with Charlize Theron and Seth Rogen which hits the theaters on May 3rd, 2019! We started with Tussock Jumper Wine, a photo booth, a selfie frame, and of course gave a great swag bag, which included Games Adults Play by Goliath! Long Shot Event

Fred Flarsky (Seth Rogen) is a gifted and free-spirited journalist with an affinity for trouble. Charlotte Field (Charlize Theron) is one of the most influential women in the world. Smart, sophisticated, and accomplished, she’s a powerhouse diplomat with a talent for…well, mostly everything. The two have nothing in common, except that she was his babysitter and childhood crush. When Fred unexpectedly reconnects with Charlotte, he charms her with his self-deprecating humor and his memories of her youthful idealism. As she prepares to make a run for the Presidency, Charlotte hires Fred as her speechwriter, much to the dismay of her trusted advisors. A fish out of water on Charlotte’s elite team, Fred is unprepared for her glamorous lifestyle in the limelight. However, sparks fly as their unmistakable chemistry leads to a round-the-world romance and a series of unexpected and dangerous incidents.

MY VIEW!

The movie will have you laughing out loud and I think I missed a couple lines because I was laughing. I love that Charlotte (Chalize Theron) is a strong professional woman but isn’t stuffy and knows how to have fun……. or at least wants to! Of course it has a “fall in love” component but it really goes so much farther than that. It will make you wonder if those in the political circle in real life wish they could be like Charlotte. I was surprised how Charlize and Seth created a chemistry between them that had you cheering for them. You do understand why Charlotte would need to walk away or why Fred would get out of her way.
