No one told you… your home needs to be styled in a certain way. So, you can do whatever it is you want with it and choose whatever style excites you the most! And if the style that excites you the most is one that recreates some of the most famous settings from the hit television sitcom, F.R.I.E.N.D.S, then why not do it?

Monica’s Apartment
It is apt that we start with Monica Geller’s place as it is the only apartment in which all of the main characters in the cast of F.R.I.E.N.D.S live in at some point or another in the series (and out of it, in her brother Ross’s case).
To emulate the style of this apartment, you’re going to have to channel your inner Monica and pay a lot of attention to detail. This means purchasing the exact same Ektorp Chair from Ikea as well as the same Console Cabinet that sit in her famous apartment, and then sitting the versions of them that you buy in your own living room. And it means buying a simple yet stylish wooden, round dining table and placing it slap bang in the middle of your kitchen.
Joey’s Apartment
And now we go just over the hallway and straight into Joey’s place. To recreate this equally famous apartment you need not pay as much attention to detail, but you must be more open to bringing in far wackier features. Far wackier features that include: a foosball table — make sure to check out the best tabletop foosball table when you do so; an entertainment unit — one that will hold everything from your TV, to your stereo system to all of your old DVDs and CDs; a framed picture of Laurel and Hardy; statues of The Three Stooges; a large white dog; a Magna Doodle and two reclining barcaloungers. Once you get all of these things, you’re good to go!
And, don’t worry, you don’t have to adopt a chick or a baby duck to recreate this apartment. But you can, if you want, go all Phoebe and bring a (not-so-smelly) cat home with you.
Central Perk
To decorate your home — specifically your living room — like the incredibly famous coffee shop known as Central Perk, you’re going to have to do a number of things. You’re going to have get yourself a big, shaggy-looking rug — you could probably find one from your local thrift store. You’re going to have to get yourself an overstuffed, orange sofa that looks like the Perk’s signature couch — you might have to go to a sofa store for this. And, quite importantly, you’re going to have to be willing to only serve coffee to the friends that visit your home in coffee mugs that are far too big. Well, if you didn’t, it just wouldn’t be Central Perk!
And speaking of these friends of yours, well they’re sure to love your new interior design choices, whether they’re fans of F.R.I.E.N.D.S or not!
