Discovering The Palm Beaches in Florida- Paris in Town Le Bistro

August 3, 2017 Rachel Ferrucci 15 Comments

Our series on Discovering The Palm Beaches started at the PGA Resort and Spa, we’re also sharing where you need to go to eat either lunch or dinner while visiting. While Downtown at The Gardens, I found one of my new favorite restaurants, Paris in Town Le Bistro!

Paris in town le bistro

Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33410

The relaxed, informal and casual atmosphere with a French theme. I asked Ginny, our waitress (who was incredible), about many items on the menu. There were so many choices that were new to me and I was on a mission not to get the same old, same old. Paris in town le bistro

I started with a spinach quiche’ for an appetizer which could have been my meal and I think it was the best quiche I’ve had (I’m a quiche girl) and the Grilled Merguez w/ fennel salad spicy Moroccan lamb sausage for the Sicilian. We found something that will be on his list now! Paris in town le bistro

The main course for me was Filet Mignon au Poivre  (filet mignon w/ brandy pepper sauce) The filet melted in my mouth and the brandy pepper sauce will be replicated at my house (I hope). The Sicilian had the Lamb Shank MV braised in white wine & tomatoes concassées w/ mashed potatoes. We didn’t speak while eating but I’m sure the people on the other side of the restaurant may have heard some moans and Mmmmmms.

Paris in town le bistro I never had ratatouille and when I saw it on the menu I had to try it! (Thanks Disney) I didn’t realize it was all veggies. It too was amazing! At this point I was thankful my hotel room had a refrigerator because I was planning on a late night snack and quiche for breakfast. Paris in town le bistro

We were planning on skipping dessert but Ginny talked us into having one of their famous crepes’. Since I’ve never had a crepe….I know! How is that possible when I’m Queen Sweets? We decided on Ginny’s recommendation to share a Nutella, bananas, strawberries, whipped cream, Grand Marnier, and gelato crepe. I also ordered my usual coffee with Kahula and whipped cream. My mouth still waters when I think of eating this crepe- it was tonguegasmic!! Paris in town le bistro

The Sicilian watched as Ginny made my coffee (yes she did it all) and he said as she made it, she walked a way a couple feet and bent down to look at it to make sure it was perfect. I watched at how attentive she was with all her tables and she knew everything about all the dishes on the menu. If you get there ask for her and tell her I sent you! Paris in town le bistro

Ginny and the staff made sure everything was perfect and I will be going back very soon!

You’ll find a replica David in the square but going to Accademia Gallery in Florence and seeing this breathtaking statue by Michelangelo is 100% worth it, whether you like art or not. His right leg has a tree stump which balances the entire statue.
