Oral Care Tips And Tricks For A Gorgeous Smile

April 12, 2017 Rachel Ferrucci Leave a Comment

Making sure you’re in a good oral care routine is a must if you want to have a beautiful smile. You didn’t ever see anybody with a beautiful smile who skipped dentist appointments and smoked like a trooper! The tips in this guide will help you to get the gorgeous grin you’ve been lusting after your whole life:

Use An Electric Toothbrush

An electric toothbrush does all of the work for you, so why would you want to use a manual anyway? Make sure you keep it charged up, and change the head when the bristles start to bend. Ensure you spend an equal amount of time on each tooth, not forgetting the gums, tongue, and backs of the teeth too. Use a toothpaste to suit your goals, whether that’s stain removal or whitening.

Follow With Floss And Rinse

Always follow your brushing routine with a floss and rinse. Floss will get rid of the debris in between your teeth, while a good mouthwash will get rid of any remaining bacteria. As a result your smile will be cleaner, as well as look brighter. Not to mention your fresh breath!

Chew Sugarfree Gum

Chewing sugar free gum after meals can help to neutralize the PH in your mouth, to help stop tooth decay. Not only that, chewing gum can help your concentration levels. There are downsides to chewing too much though, so be smart.

Be Conscious Of What You Eat/Drink

Make sure you remain conscious of the things you eat and drink. If you drink a lot of coffee, red wine, and tea, you can be sure your teeth will stain more easily than those who don’t. You have options here. Cutting back on your consumption is a good idea, but you could potentially drink all of your liquids through a straw too. It won’t completely eradicate damage, but it can help to keep your mouth a bit better looking and healthier.

Stop Those Bad Habits

If you’re a smoker, you must quit. Not only for your teeth, but for the sake of your general health too. Smoking is associated with all kinds of nasty diseases, so the best thing you’ll ever do is stop.

Find The Best Whitening Method For You

Whitening your teeth every so often will help to increase your confidence when somebody pulls out a camera. You can use a natural method like coconut oil pulling, or there are things like white strips that can produce immediate results.

Never Skip A Dentist’s Appointment

Go to your dentist once a year, or as often as yours recommends to keep your mouth healthy. There are all kinds of cosmetic dentistry procedures if you’re unhappy with your smile, from Invisalign braces to veneers. Explore your options!

Don’t Use Your Teeth As Tools

If you’ve ever opened a bottle with your teeth, you’re extremely lucky if it didn’t chip. Stop biting your nails and using your teeth to do things that you shouldn’t!
Remember, whatever your issue is with your teeth, there’s something out there that can help you. Just be sure to always get products and treatments from a reputable professional, or you might just end up regretting it for the rest of your life. Taking care of your teeth is so important, as neglecting them is linked to a whole host of other diseases, not just tooth decay, but diabetes, cancer, and heart disease. Start taking your routine seriously and you’ll not only get a gorgeous grin, you’ll keep yourself as healthy as can be.

You’ll find a replica David in the square but going to Accademia Gallery in Florence and seeing this breathtaking statue by Michelangelo is 100% worth it, whether you like art or not. His right leg has a tree stump which balances the entire statue.
