KETCHUP
What better way to lower cooking stress than turning to condiments you already have? A drizzle of ketchup could be all you need to turn your meals into a taste explosion. We’re not talking homemade ketchup either. A bottle of Heinz is all it takes. As the top chef, Jeremy King said, “Sometimes we have to accept that we can’t better something that already exists.” And, he’s not alone. Many chefs admit to using this secret ingredient in their cooking. So, next time you feel your meals are lacking, try ketchup for bringing them to life.
WORCESTERSHIRE SAUCE
Okay, this isn’t a secret ingredient as such. Even so, Worcestershire sauce can add something special. Again, this is something most of us have. STOCK POTS
Everyone with a little cooking knowledge knows that plain water does not lead to a taste sensation. Even so, many recipes call for plain water to be added! Instead, many of us opt to add stock instead. It gives a depth of flavor that water alone will never offer. We don’t all have time to make stock at the drop of a hat. Instead, turn to stock pots to liven up your dishes. You can even have fun with some of the exotic choices on offer!
