2 Great Drink Recipes Made With 7UP That Everyone Can Enjoy

March 8, 2017 Rachel Ferrucci 16 Comments

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of 7UP®. The opinions and text are all mine.

*Must be 21 years of age or older to drink alcohol. Please drink responsibly.

I love to entertain, it gives me satisfaction to have friends over and watch them enjoy the foods and drinks I serve. When creating recipes, I like them to be easy, but they must look complicated. I have signature dishes that my guests look forward to having but I like to have a special drink for everyone to try. When I was asked by 7UP to create and share recipes using this product I jumped all over it. I happen to use 7UP for many things! I’m going to share 2 great drink recipes made with 7UP that everyone can enjoy.

2 easy 7up drink recipes

You have to remember that everyone might not like your drinks so it’s wise to have mixers that can go with everything. Keeping 7UP on hand is a must! Guests can drink it straight UP or use it as a mixer.

On a side note when I’m shopping at Stop & Shop (my local grocery store) I purchase 7UP to keep it stocked because there are so many recipes you can use it in. From main dishes, marinades and breads to desserts and drinks, 7UP is that “secret” ingredient to take things to the next level.

I chose 7UP for these 2 drink recipes because it’s crisp and fresh and all the flavors will complement each other.

Spring Up Spritzer

Spring Up Spritzer

Ingredients:

7UP – 3.5 oz
Vodka – 1.5 oz
Rhubarb Shrub -.5 oz
Prosecco -2 oz
Fresh Strawberries

Directions:

In mixer combine 7UP, vodka, and rhubarb shrub. Stir and pour over ice about 3/4 of the way up in the glass. Add Prosecco, garnish with fresh strawberry. Enjoy!

**I have also added a splash of pomegranate

Punch It Up Mimi's 7UP Punch

This punch is a family favorite, has no alcohol, and is a hit with all ages. It takes about 3 mins to put together and looks beautiful!

Ingredients:

7UP – 2 liter
OJ – 1/2 gallon
Fruit Punch – 1 quart
Rainbow Sherbet

Directions:

In a punch bowl pour OJ, fruit punch, and 7UP. Scoop the rainbow sherbet and add to punch bowl. The sherbet will float on top and slightly melt to make a rainbow froth. I don’t serve it in the punch glasses because they are so small. I like at least a 60z clear glass so guests can enjoy the rainbow colors.

You now have 2 great 7UP drink recipes that will dazzle your guests. Grab a coupon by checking out Savory Magazine in the “New Flavors” edition until 3/30 to save $1.00 when you buy two 7UP 2-Liter bottles.

These both sound like great drink options. I will have to make the Spring Up Spritzer for my next girls day.

These are tasty drinks. I really love the sherbet punch one. I’ve been making those for my kids for their parties for years.

7 UP has just the right amount of bubble for mixing. I love it!

I make a similar 7 Up punch but with pineapple juice instead of OJ. I need to try this version next time.

I am saving the recipes. These drinks look so refreshing and would be great to serve during a party or family reunion. 7UP is good for mixing drinks, cooking, baking, and just as it is.

I love 7-Up and have so many memories associated with it from my childhood. My favorite grownup drink is a 7-7. It’s so yummy!

You’ll find a replica David in the square but going to Accademia Gallery in Florence and seeing this breathtaking statue by Michelangelo is 100% worth it, whether you like art or not. His right leg has a tree stump which balances the entire statue.
