Would You Like A Coffee? How Different Travelers Take Their Caffeine

January 16, 2017 Rachel Ferrucci Leave a Comment

Coffee is a versatile drink: The perfect wake up call in the morning, the pick me potion after a long meeting, and even the companion of an afternoon chat with your best friend. Coffee can do it all. How you like it depends on your taste and where you are too. While different cultures have different coffee traditions, different travelers also develop different coffee breaks and rituals to keep them alert during the journey. Find out how travelers like to drink their caffeine.

Coach Travel: Travelers Need To Find Comfort

Traveling by bus is one of the cheapest forms of travel, and it is consequently for many one of the less comfortable too. However, while there is no denying that there are plenty of quality charter bus companies around – have a look at the Shofur – Wikipedia article to find out more -, bus travel remains an exhausting form of travel for medium to long distances, as traffic jams and the limitation of free movement can make it difficult to enjoy. As a result, bus travelers turn to coffee for consolation: They are likely to order a flavored latte or a grande cappuccino with extra cream. Bus travelers are intuitively used to the continual movement that comes from sitting in a bus; so, they prefer their coffee on the go!

Cruise Travel: Indulging Coffee Or Nothing

Cruises are the definition of luxury travel: Travelers are pampered while the ship takes them to a variety of exciting locations. There is no surprise: Cruise travelers love to live exquisite experiences that are no match for everyday life. Whether this is going to bed along the Turk coastline and waking up in Greece, or putting their best evening clothes for a romantic dinner on the deck, as long as there is a sense of luxury, this is worth it! As a result, it is difficult to imagine that they would like a standard espresso. People on cruise are more likely to order an afternoon cream tea with cakes, which is an indulgent way of consuming caffeine outside of in a coffee. Or, if this is later during the day, they may even ask for an Irish coffee, which is a loaded coffee cream with a splash of alcohol.

The Travelers Who Check The Time: Car & Plane Travelers

Car and plane travelers don’t have much in common, but they share one thing: They often keep an eye on their watch, whether to arrive on time at the airport or to make sure that they avoid the rush hour. This has a huge impact on how they like their coffee. Indeed, car travelers who have a long journey ahead, or early risers who arrive at the airport will both turn to coffee for strength: They are likely to pick a double espresso to wake their system up! If they have more time on hand, they will then choose a large coffee that reflects the comfort of their situation: mochaccino or long americo are among the favorites, especially with lactose-free alternatives for most modern travelers!

You’ll find a replica David in the square but going to Accademia Gallery in Florence and seeing this breathtaking statue by Michelangelo is 100% worth it, whether you like art or not. His right leg has a tree stump which balances the entire statue.
