Graphic Stock labelMy Christmas list consists mostly of children but I love to add the adults to the list too! I give specific homemade gifts that people now look forward to warms my heart. I know they are made with love and I know that they will be very much appreciates! One of those gifts is my homemade amaretto, it’s easy, cheap, and I could be creative with the packaging.

How To Brew Up Homemade Amaretto!

  • 3 3/4 cups of water
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/5 vodka
  • 1 oz. almond extract

Directions:

    1. Combine water and sugars.
    2. Boil at a low simmering boil for 20 minutes (no longer).
    3. Let cool, add vodka and almond extract.
    4. Drink and enjoy.

You can pick up beautiful carved bottles with corks at Pier One or check online. Fill with amaretto, print out your tag with recipe and stick it to a piece of colored construction paper or recycled Christmas cards, punch a hole in it. Loop in raffia, tie, and you have a beautiful homemade gift for under $10.

How to make the recipe tags

I received a complimentary subscription to GraphicStock.com and went through the unlimited downloads to choose my design. With over 250,000 graphics, icons and vectors and more being added daily the creation opportunities are truly endless. This was probably the most difficult part because there are so many to choose from. I started creating folders because as I was searching for my current project I started getting ideas for Easter and other occasions. graphicstock

Pick out your image(s) and print them on pre-cut stickers (lg address labels) or on sticky paper.

You’ll find a replica David in the square but going to Accademia Gallery in Florence and seeing this breathtaking statue by Michelangelo is 100% worth it, whether you like art or not. His right leg has a tree stump which balances the entire statue.
