There are so many more ways to have an exciting weekend than going out drinking with friends. If you’re looking for some ideas that are just as fun and better for your health, here are 5 of them!
Do Something Spontaneous
You don’t necessarily need a plan to have an exciting weekend. In fact, isn’t life more exciting when we’re spontaneous? Step outside of your comfort zone and do something on a whim! You could go for a road trip and explore somewhere new. You could go to the cinema alone and enjoy the time to yourself. There are so many things you could fill your time with, whether or not you have somebody to do it with!
Take Somebody You Like Out
Is there somebody you have your eye on? Ask them out! If you’re already with somebody, surprise them and take them out. Plan a picnic, or take them to a nice restaurant. Spending time with somebody you like is always exciting, especially if you’re getting to know them. You and your partner could have some fun pretending you’re meeting for the first time!
Go To See A Sports Game
Sports games are always exciting. Even if you’re not a huge sports fan, the atmosphere can be electric. Try it and see how you feel! Take a look at a link like http://www.alliancetickets.com/Colorado-Rockies-Tickets for some tickets. Maybe you want to try a football game, basketball, or cricket. You might just find a new love!
Do A Course or A Class On Something You’re Interested In
Is there something you’ve always wondered about, but never looked into properly? Maybe there’s a skill you would have liked to learn, but just haven’t yet. Do it this weekend. Find day courses and classes, and see if you can book on. You never know, you could have a new skill before you know it! Don’t be too attached to the outcome. This is what stops people from doing things. Just do it for the love of it, and relax. You’ll have a much better time. You can even find some courses online if you’d prefer!
Express Yourself
If we aren’t being creative, we aren’t expressing ourselves properly. We’re all creative in our own way! How can you flex your creative muscles? Maybe you could watch some YouTube tutorials and make a piece of pottery, or something random. You could customize your clothes, paint a picture…it doesn’t matter. Getting creative can even be a form of meditation. It reduces stress and helps us to have fun. It doesn’t even matter if you don’t think you’re any good at it. Practice makes perfect – not everybody is born a skilled craftsman, and we all start somewhere.
Make sure you’re making the most of your weekend. Do things that excite you and aim to step outside of your comfort zone or expand your skills. You’ll love how amazing this feels and chances are, you’ll want to do it more often. Have an amazing weekend and leave your own ideas below!
