The Compass Girls hit Malibu, California with Lexus for our luxury weekend, living life like the celebrities we are! Ok, so we’re not celebrities but it doesn’t mean we can’t live a weekend like them! Zippy and I hit the road to get the most out of our Lexus LC500 and headed to the PCH. As Zippy grabbed on to the “Oh Sh&t” bar and we became part of the fast & furious! Sammy Hagar was so right when he said, “I Can’t Drive 55!”
When experiencing this car, all you want to do is drive. It slices through the road like butter and hugs every turn and corner with ease.
1. Not following the speed limit.
What fun is having a sports car if you don’t go fast? Driving slow is for minivans and family vehicles. Remember: Your speedometer has numbers over 100 miles per hour for a reason!
2. Not stopping to drop off passengers.
Related to point number 1 above, don’t let the wishes of your passengers get in the way of enjoying your Lexus. Why spoil a nice drive by honoring every little request they may have? Those pesky bathroom breaks or “I need to stop here to go to my job” requests will just have to wait.
3. Not maintaining your Lexus.
Let’s face it: If you can afford to buy a Lexus once, you can probably afford to by another one. So don’t worry about things like oil changes, engine checkups, and so forth. You can waste your time on that or you can enjoy your time driving fast (see point number 1 above).
4. Not advertising the fact that you have one.
Everyone knows that the main reason to buy a sports car is so you can let others know that you’re the kind of person who owns a sports car. Don’t hesitate to bring this up at every possible opportunity. Some good times to mention it include when at the doctor’s office, in your wedding vows, or at a funeral.
5. Not washing it regularly.
Washing your car is for the birds. Just drive fast enough, and the dust will fly right off.
