Need something fun to do with the family this weekend?
More than 10,000 families, students, artists, merchants, restauranteurs and performers alike are expected to descend on the Westville section of New Haven this year to celebrate the 18th Annual ArtWalk festival. A springtime tradition, the two-day community-based arts event will kick off at 6:00 PM on Friday, May 8 and run through early Saturday evening on May 9.
The Westville Village ArtWalk
is a free, annual, community-based arts festival that spans three blocks in New Haven’s Historic Westville Village and Edgewood Park every Mother’s Day weekend. This superbly fun event features a wide range of activities including live music, art exhibitions, theater performances, and walking tours. Some highlights of this year’s ArtWalk festival include:
Live performances by talented local bands and performers: Sound Affect, Good Night Blue Moon, Kristen Graves, Edgewood Jazz and much more!

This looks so fun! We have an event locally that is called an Art Crawl. Our local brewery also participates with a food truck. It is always a fun week! 🙂
