I just love Valentine’s Day. It’s one of my very favorite times of the year. Hearts, flowers, Cupid and of course CANDY. That said, as much as I love shopping for cute Valentine’s Day things, I really love to make my own as well. When the kids were younger, we sent in class Valentine’s Day cards for everyone. Now that they’re older, I don’t do that any longer but I do still leave them a printable Valentine’s Day Card for kids to remind them of that time.
Printable Valentine’s Day Card for Kids
Before I started blogging (many years ago), I had an online crafts store and one of my most popular Valentine’s Day items was bags of Cupid Poop. You just fill a little plastic bag (2 5/8″ x 3 5/8″) with some type of red or pink candy, fold the printable topper in half and staple to attach the topper to the bag.
You could really use any type of candy that fits the Valentine’s Day theme. M&M’s makes red and pink candies but you can also use Red Hot candies, Conversation Hearts, pink and red jelly beans or even just plain white or milk chocolate chips. If you want to stay away from candy, you could include some red and white glitter or for younger children, beads and yarn to string a necklace.
Materials:
- Bags that measure roughly 2 5/8″ x 3 5/8″
- Cupid Poop Printable
- Scissors
- Stapler with staples
- Red and pink candies
Directions:
- Print as many toppers as you need.
- Cut them out carefully
- Fold each in half
- Fill each bag with candy leaving a bit of clearance on top to staple it closed.
- Staple the topper to the bag on the left and right side.
Of course, if you’re like me and your kids are too old for a printable Valentine’s Day card for kids, you can always use it as a gag gift at work or a little gift for your sweetie.
Who will you give Cupid Poop to this year?

Went to the store today and they were already sold out of the Valentine’s Day M&M’s! Hopefully they’ll get more in the next week…

I suppose there’s a poop for every holiday, haha, but this is a new twist. We love the holiday M&Ms, there are always so many great ways to use them and candy crafts are so fun. I bet these would be great as favors for a child’s classroom party.

Jenna & Amy – The M&M Valentine Candies are super cute. You could use other red/pink candy if you cannot find these.
