Candles add ambiance to any decor. These easy steps on how to create a pumpkin candle will have you crafting in no time. Once you complete one, you will get lots of ideas of what else you can do these for. I’ve also done this for baby shower favors and centerpieces.
What you need:
Pillar Candles
Beverage Napkins with your favorite print (You can use other size napkins but you will need to trim to size)
Heat gun
Scissors
- Trim napkin if needed. 2ply napkins need to be peeled a part
- Wrap napkin around candle holding tightly
- Start in the center of the napkin and evenly warm candle with heat gun to slowly melt the candle so the wax will start to come through napkin.
- Do this process over the entire napkin constantly moving heat gun so you don’t burn the napkin or melt the wax too much.
- use scissors or scraper to lightly smooth out edges. **the edges don’t need to match perfectly, they can overlap**
Process should take under five minutes.
****Please use the heat gun with caution, these get extremely hot!****
You can also create your own design on candles and personalize them. You can see them here

Now that is very neat! I clearly need to invest in a heat gun!
